Looking for the parents of Christian Welhelm Warnecke, born 8 Feb 1832, Hannover. Where in Hannover, I do not know. He came to America before 1960. 11 May he married Rosina Abell in Alton, Madison Co., IL. (just across the river from St. Louis, Mo.) He was Lutheran and she was Catholic. Their children were all baptized at Salem Lutheran church. I still am a member there. Several years ago I entered all the vital records into the computer and published the book of births & baptizm, confirmation, Marriage, Death & Burials. It is over 700 pages and all the profit went to Salem Church. One man from Germany bought the book. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I knew where then I could order the film and research it and get back mor generations. Rosina also came from Hannover. They are my Great Grandparents.
