Volkszählung en ins GenWiki bringen

Hollo zusammen,

ich war so frei, einmal meine Vorstellungen zu gefundenen Kontrollisten
einer Volkszählung von 1890 ins GenWiki zu setzen.
Siehe --->
http://wiki-de.genealogy.net/Portal:DigiBib/In_Vorbereitung#Volksz.C3.A4hlungen

Guten tag,

Mein Deutsch ist nicht gut. Bitte schreiben sie nur auf Englisch.

Viele dank,

Dick Berger

Hi Richard,

I assume you have not yet realised that this is a German speaking
mailing-list? If you send requests in English and if somebody can help
you they will respond to you - if possible in English - purely out of
courtesy. But if you subscribe to a German mailing-list you will have
to accept that most e-mails you receive will be in German ;-).

Viele Grüße,

     Dirk

Hallo Dirk,
Yes you are correct. Apparently I did not understand the premise on which
the site (or list) is operated. Below is a portion of a previous message
which led me to think that I could receive messages in English:
“Hello and welcome to the GenWiki mailing list GenWiki-L!

We are feeling happy about a new, hopefully active member of this list and
finally about an active user of our common genealogical wiki "GenWiki".

The Mailing List about our GenWiki.

Hi Richard,

the GenWiki List might be the optimal list for you to look out for
your German ancestors. In this list you find more info in regards to
ongoing projects on the GenWiki website.
Other lists might be much more fruitful to use to research your
ancestors in Germany.
Have a look here: http://list.genealogy.net/mailman/listinfo/
You will find quite a few multi-langual lists there - there will be a
specific note in the appropriate language(s) in the comment field. But
please be aware that the main language on these lists will most likely
be German. Also, if you see the word "geschlossen" then you can only
subscribe on invitation. For those "closed" lists you usually need to
be a member of the local club to be able to subscribe.

Hope I was able to point you into the right direction,

    Dirk
