Hello All,
our last Update was quite a success and drew a lot of visitors to our websites.
Some of you had questions and since they seem to be of general interest,
I will try to answer them here..
Marie asked:
>is the database just for "*Saxony*", or was that just a starting point?
Here you hit a weak point, Marie and this is a long story.. Ok, I will make it short..
When I started with the idea of building a bridge between the English- speaking
and German- speaking researchers, it was a very humble beginning.
It started with *ONE* mailing list and *ONE* subscriber ( me..)..
Within a very short time the membership increased by 1,000 % to 10 .. =-O
Now we have *4* English-speaking lists with about *2,000* subscribers and
*2* German-speaking lists with another *2,000* subscribers and all our
databases, which are almost *100%* bilingual..
Yes, Marie "*Saxony*" was only a starting point, but now with all that growth
this is getting very mis-leading, because we intend to cover *ALL* German-speaking areas..
To solve this problem, I just acquired the domain of "*Germanyroots*" and everything will
be changed over as time permits..
( Klaus-Peter [Wessel] and Jesper [Zedlitz] any problems with that ?? )
It already works: http://www.Germanyroots.com ( but so far only as a "re-direction")
more to come..
Have a nice weekend,
Wolf [Zscheile]
