I need to send a small letter to Germany from America. If I read the international mail calculators right, I believe if I put 80 cents in stamps on the envelope it will be fine. Does that sound right? Do I need an airmail envelope or will a regular envelope be okay?

Hi MarJo,
You can use a regular envelope, max 2 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper, two 37
cent stamps will do fine.
Kindest regards
Ingrid
Dear MaryJo,
$.80 for the first ounce will do fine to Germany. You can use a regular
envelope. It is my understanding, that all first class international mail
goes airmail these days. Delivery takes about ten days going, but about half
that time coming back. Go figure?
