Can anyone tell me how migrants from Hannover to the UK in the late 1700's would travel.would they go overland or by ship.most of the shipping lists that I see are for Germany to The USA. Are there any from Germany to the UK.

The kind of travel would depend on the means and on the residence of the
emigrant. Those who lived near the rivers would use them to get to the coast.
There are passenger lists from Hamburg to the UK at the Hamburg Staatsarchiv.
I do not know if they go back to the 1700�s
