Tonjes and Busherhoff

I sent a message previously, but since I wasn't a member I think it was not
posted. Now I am a member and hope to learn more about Oldenburg genealogy.

I have persons in my tree from northern Germany, I believe near Oldenburg.

Katherine Busherhoff, born 1858 in Bevenstedt and Hermann Tonjes, born 1853
in Dorum I believe. They married in New Jersey, US about 1876.

Any info re: these names or person would be appreciated.

I hope Daniel Mairose sees this posting because he has a Buscherhoff in his
tree names list. If some one knows Daniels email address, I would appreciate
it.

Hi Carl,

It may be possible the the real name of Katherine will be Buschkaroff and she was born in Beverstedt.
But it will be also possible that she was born in Adolphsdorf/Teufelsmoor. Thats the origin place
of the Buschkaroff and I have a Catherina * 29.9.1855
For Hermann T�njes ask at the M�nner vom Morgenstern in Bremerhaven. You will found their

Hi Carl,
the name and family B�scherhoff ist also known in the small village
Ehrenborg in the near of Lohne/Oldenburg. There is the old and large farm
from 1498 and the descendants are living in this area.
Ehrenborg belongsed in former times to the Parish St. Gertrud Lohne.
