unfortunately I can not help you with information abaut your Doris/Dora Thieman. But perhaps you can help me.
I´m looking for information abaut a Tiemann or Thiemann family comming from Hohenassel and Burgdorf near Hannover and Braunschweig, and especially for information about Johanna Henriette Lucie Tiemann, born 1813, probably in Hohenassel father August Heinrich Tiemann born in 1771, mother Johanna Katharina Elisabet Rote. She came to the U.S. between 1843 and 1857. Most likely she took her sun with her Otto August Louis Carl Tiemann, born 06. Juli 1843 in Burgdorf.
