All,

A very large number of Oldenburger Munsterland families moved from there to
Mercer County Ohio. I have borrowed a new book about the HOYING / HOYNG
families. In essence thery re-created the Osnabruck, Lohne, Bersenbruck area in
Mercer County. Same religion, customs, dress, foods, Plattdeutsch, etc.

Jim: I have Heying ancestors, which I believe is a variant of Hoyng. My relatives settled in Iowa but I would be interested to know more about the book you mentioned. Would you be able to give me the title and author?
