This is my first post to this list. I have recently discovered that my
TEPE ancestors may have been from Oldenburg, to the Northwest of Verden &
Dorverden in Niedersachsen.
Meta Sophie TEPE was possibly born and married in Oldenburg but her
children were born in Stedorf where her husband was born. The first known
child was born Johann Friedrich SCHROEDER, 1856, in Stedorf. One of the
baptism sponsors was Heinrich TEPE of Oldenburg. It is very possible that
Heinrich and Meta were siblings.
Anyone else on the list have TEPE family connections or knowledge?
Kind Regards,
