Surname Map in Germany

Hello everyone,

Does anyone have the link to the site which has look ups of frequency of German Surnames in different parts of Germany. That was given here once. Or is there a way for me to check archives?

There is one at www.geneanet.org Click on services tab, then geneamap, then enter the name. It gives the location of the names according to the areas that researchers have submitted, not by census or anything like that.
This one may not be part of the free membership however.

Please have a look on http://christoph.stoepel.net/geogen/v3/

There you have to insert that surname you are interested in and you'll get
explicite figures for all counties as well as a map showing the results in
colored display.

What about Wohlmanns?
