Suche nach Wilhelm Beitzen in St. Louis, Mo

Dear Maria,

I live in St. Louis, Missouri and the majority of catholic records of the St. Louis Archdiocese are on microfilm from that era. Lots of the Hannover Germans attended Shrine of St. Joseph Church, which was built in 1844. Other large Churches were St. Mary of Victories, Holy Trinity, St. Vincent Depaul and St. Peter and Paul.

The St. Louis Archdiocese Archives has a website at:
http://www.archstl.org/archives/policies/sacramental.html

The records on film are also at St. Louis County Library Special Collections. I ocassionally visit the library. If you could perhaps give me the name of the spouse of your Wilhelm and the marriage date perhaps I could locate the record for you, if this is what you are looking for, and perhaps baptismal records of children. The Archdocese also has an online request form, which you can complete, they will send copy if found for a fee of about $5.00.

Another resource is..

http://www.stlcathcem.com/

which has an online name search of St. Louis Archdiocese catholic burials, if a plot number is listed, you can view who else is buried in the same plot.
