Dear persons;
    My name is Albert Schumacher. I am searching for any information about my heritage and relatives from Germany. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    My family may have come from Geestgottberg. The farthest back I have any information about is George Schumacher who was married to Maria Boethke (Bethke) born in 1700?. George and Maria had five sons Fredrich b. 1850, Charles b. 1855, Herman b. 1859, August b. 1868,William Fredrick b. June 1871. All five brothers emigrated to the United States 1884- 1900.
    As you can tell there are many holes in my research that I am trying to fill. Any information that you can share with me would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Albert, the greatest hole is the following:
if George (or his wife Mary) was born in 1700, how could the last of their
five sons have been born in 1871 ? Father (or mother) were 171 years old at
that time !
Allow me to say: It would be greatly appreciated to check data before asking
other people.
