I would like to find information concerning my grandparents. My grandfather was August Schalla, born August 1, 1860, in Geyerswalde, Osterode, East Prussia. My grandmother was Charlotte Sowatzke, born August 11, 1868, Gross Potzdorf, Osterode, East Prussia. I also have the name of Christof Schalla who was the father of William Rudolf Schalla, born Feb. 10, 1872. I would like to find out the relationship to my grandfather and any information concerning the surnames of Schalla and/or Sowatzke (Sawatzki).
