Can you help me? I am descended from each of the individuals named below who at the indicated time lived in the villages also listed below. If you are also descended from any of these individuals or know of some one who is, I would very much appreciate hearing from you. I do not speak or write German but can manage translations. The villages, Eitzendorf, Martfeld, and Wechold are each located in the earldom of HOYA, province of HANNOVER:
EITZENDORF,
where my ancestors named HERMAN RIPPE and ANNA DEERMAN were married 29 November 1694 and had eleven children including a son, CHRISTIAN LUDEWIG RIPPE who was born 25 July 1721.
MARTFELD,
where my ancestor, the aforementioned CHRISTIAN LUDEWIG RIPPE married MEIMERICH DECKER on 17 November 1747 and had a son named JOHANN FRIEDRICH RIPPE, who was christened in Eitzendorf on 22 February 1750. JOHANN FRIEDRICH RIPPE married ANNA ADELHEID LOMANN and had at least four children including a son also named JOHANN FRIEDRICH RIPPE, who was christened in Martfeld on 24 October 1783.
WECHOLD,
where my ancestor, the aforementioned JOHANN FRIEDRICH RIPPE married ANNA MARIA MARGARETHE WEHRENBERG and had at least three children including a son named JOHANN ALBERT CHRISTIAN RIPPE born on 31 January 1804. JOHANN ALBERT CHRISTIAN RIPPE, who went by the name ALBERT RIPPE, married CATHARINE MARGARETHE OTTERMANN in Wechold on 26 December 1824 and they had at least five children, all christened in Wechold. ALBERT RIPPE's wife CATHARINA MARGARETHE died 18 February 1845 in Wechold at the age of 46 years. Shortly after her death, ALBERT RIPPE immigrated to America where he settled in the town of Brazoria, Brazoria County, Texas.
