We've fortunately had a relatively mild summer here in SoCal, so I can't complain. Actually I can't believe we're about to throw the clocks back (a sure sign that Fall is upon us, and the summer heat is over). As for der olde list, it's been humming along at its normal good pace. Don't think you missed out on anything overly important (at least not as heady as the great Plattdeutsch debates).
