I am trying to build a database of people with the FRITZLER surname
whenever and wherever they lived. Recently I looked at the information that is on
the FamilySearch.org (LDS Church) web site and they have information that may
be useful to me in my project. I do not know my history of the European
countries (I live in the United States) and therefore don't know where the
following places are located.
1. Mehlkemen, Stalupoenen, Ostpreussen, Preussen
2. Oberdorla, Mulhausen, Saschsen, Thurigen, Preussen
3. Vital, Aachen Stadt, Rheinland, Preussen
4. Allenstein, Allenstein, Ostpreussen, Preussen
5. Greuhain, Zwickau, Sashsen
6. Pillupoehnen, Stallupoenen, Ostpreussen, Preussen
7. Lengwethen, Tilsit-Ragnit, East,PreussenGraudenz, Westpreussen,
Preussen
8. Goldap, Ostpreussen, Preussen
9. Kneiwen, Tilsit-Ragnet, East,Preussen
Would someone be so kind as to tell me where I can look to find where the
above 9 places are currently located and their current names? The location
listed in number 1 above had a greater population of persons with the Fritzler
surname. In this regard is there any way I can contact this location to
obtain any additional information about past or present persons with the Fritzler
surname?
