Hi Judy,
My husband's family came from the same area of W. Prussia, but
they were Evangelical Lutheran. Most were from Zippnow, and like
your family, some names look Polish, but they spoke German (and
family insists they were German).

From Zempleburg I have:

They came to the USA about 1886 - 1891, mostly to MN, but some
had relatives in MI (Augusta Breitzke spent her first summer in the
USA in MI "with" relatives. Finding them a 100 years later is more
than difficult).
