I am trying to locate a town listed as Laasch Mecklenberg in 1875 as an ancestor was born there.
There is a town of Laasche between Dannenberg and Perleberg
North-east of Salzwedel.
On the bigger scale it is between Hamburg and Berlin .
About in the middle of the two cities.

I have tried all map searches and other sources on the internet. I only find a Laasche in Niedersachsen or a Laach in Reinland-Pfalz. Did the spelling of this town change as did others I have searched before?

That Laasche is Laasche Post Gartow, 29471 Gartow, situated about 6 km from the
river Elbe. On the other side is Mecklenburg. Has always been a lot of exchange
in population over the river from both sides in former times, means before 1945.
But is only 10 km more up to Dannenberg also situated Laase, Kreis L�chow-Dan-
nenberg = 29484 Langendorf, Elbe belonging to and situated almost direktly to the
