Re: Krasse, Mecklenburg (?)

Hello George Zentner,
Having been raised in Holland (Netherlands) from 1935 to 1955. I learned
about the 80-year war against Spain (1568-1648) in school. At the conclusion
of this war, during the Treaty of Muenster which coincided with the end of
the 30-year war in Germany, Switzerland (Helvetia) and the Netherlands
(including the Spanish Netherlands - now Belgium) were made independent
states. You probably know all this but my question has to do with the
approximate dates when this Swiss regiment existed and where its garrison was
located. Looking forward to hearing from you, I remain
sincerely,

Pieter--

Surprised to hear from you...you living in Las Vegas now ?

The only town/city mentioned in the records I have was Breda, Holland.
All other notations said, "...Holland, Diensten (service)."

The men registered in the village at their 16th birthday ( or older)I haven't seen anything referenced to
who, when, where, why, how long...etc., !

I'll ask around and let you know what I found.

Do you visit the Holland web-site www.genlias.nl ?
I found a lot of my surname there...Oudewater; Gouda, de Werken, etc., are some of the towns.

Have a nice weekend...

CHeers--
