Dear Jean, Don't omit any possibilities here either. I found the place of my great-grandmother's birth through a grandson of my great-grandmother's brother. He had a baptismal paper in his posession from his grandfather. I try to also trace all the offspring of my ancester's parents. Sometimes it is amazing the papers which show up. In one case of my great-grandfather's brother, his descendent had every letter which was written to him from many nieces and nephews. He was the one who never learned to read, and had the letters read to him. But he saved them all. Through them I learned of the daily life of my greateat-granparents and their children. Carol
