Question about Essener Bauernhoefe und ihre Familien

I have the book, Essener Bauernhoefe und ihre Familien by Clemens
Broering. It gives information about the family of Theodor Meyer on page 367:

Kinder in Hemmelt Ksp Lastrup:
Joan Gerhard
Theodor Heinrich
Helena Margaretha

Kinder in Barlage, Ksp. Essen:
Hermann Heinrich (my gg-grandfather)
Caspar Heinrich
Joan Heinrich

Am I right in assuming that Hermann Heinrich was born in Barlage and
baptized at the Church in Essen? If this is correct, can someone tell me the
name of the Catholic Church at Essen?

Carolyn, Barlage is just a farming community (Bauerschaft) within the
Kirchspiel (parish) of Essen. You can assume that those kids were
entered in the Essen churchbook under the heading of Barlage because
that is where the parents lived at their birth.
