Question about Baden towns Waldhausen & Braunlingen

I was looking at information on some ancestors from Waldhausen, (Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis). On the Emmigration list it shows the family members as living in Braunlingen, district Waldhausen. It is the Egenberger family who emmigrated in 1872.

From other family members who are in contact with relatives in Waldhausen, I thought Waldhausen was the town not a district. If I am in the correct part of Germany at the present these two both seem to be towns, fairly close to each other.

I am confused and would love to be enlightened.
And for some reason when I try to go to Germany Roots I can't get the page, down temporarily I assume.

Thanks for letting me know Marie !!
After some investigating, I found out, that our server has some hardware problems
and some of the discs have to be exchanged.
They assured me, that there is data loss and everything will be fine by tomorrow..
