Prues and Hülsmann

Hello,

I am looking information on John 'Henry' Heinrich Prues. He was born
between 1822 and 1825 in Oldenburg. He arrived in the US before 1853.

He married Philomena Hülsmann who was also from Oldenburg. She was born
about 1823.

They had 8 children in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA and both Heinrich and
Philomena died in Cincinnati.

Their son, Bernard 'Ben' Henry Prus, married Anna Josephine Maria Burwinkel
from Heeke. I am related to the Burwinkels of Heeke.

If you have any information on John Heinrich Prues or Philomena Hülsmann,
please email me. I will be glad to share information on their children.

Have a great day!

Nancy,
I forwarded your email to Jim Rettig (also on this list). He has a LOT of information about one branch of this family. Perhaps he can help.

I recently found out that a cousin's husband is related to another branch, both branches living in Mt. Adams. We haven't connected the branches together yet. Beware of multiple spelling of the Hulsmann name. I'm assuming it may also be Huesmann. If not, I've got the wrong family altogether.
