My grandfather, Eilert Gerhard Friedrich Hormann emigrated to the U.S. arriving at Baltimore April 17, 1884 aboard the vessel, "Braunschweig". I do not know the departure date from Bremen. Can not find that information. His destination was NEBRASKA. He was listed on the register as "Friedrich Hormann"
He was born 14 Jan 1857 in Obenstrohe, Varel, Niedersachsen, Friesland, Duchy of Oldenburg, Deutschland.
I am looking for two items:
1. Date of Departure from Bremen.
2. Permission to Emigrate documentation.
