Permission to emigrate? - Stavenhagen

Dear Ursula and Manfred,
I'm sorry, my email was unclear. Georg Carl Theodor SCHULTZ was born in
Stavenhagen Stadt, Mecklenberg-Schwerin. But some time later, he evidently
traveled to Hannover Statd, met (and married?) Helena Charlotte Johanna LÜTCKENS.
I have found birth/marriage/death Kirchenbuch records for both families and
for their son, Heinrich Friedrich August LÜTCKENS (born before their
marriage in Osterwald outside of Hannover). But I have not found a marriage record
or any definite ship records for the family.

U.S. petition for citizenship of Georg Carl Theodor SCHULTZ indicated he
immigrated in 1861, the year of his son's birth. But I have found no ship
records that I can confidently say might be his or that of his wife and son (due
to age, occupation or other discrepancies). Others of his SCHULTZ family
immigrated after the Mecklenberg-Schwerin census of 1867 (between 1869 and 1875).
Georg, Johanna, and son August were united in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by
the census of 1970.

So I was hoping for emigration information from Hannover. A researcher I
hired found no Mecklenberg-Schwerin emigration records for any of the family.

Any other ideas would be welcome! Thank you for your time.

Karen

Hello Karen,
I would like to help you in your search for your immigrant ancestors,
however, you have not provided sufficient information to even do a cursory
check. With a popular name such as SCHULTZ and the many variants thereof
[SCHULZ, SHOULTZ, SHOULES] it's impossible to check passenger lists unless
one has a little more concrete information.

1. I need the date or exact year of birth for your SCHULTZ ancestor,
including his wife and any other relatives who immigrated with them;
2. Which of the first names did GEORG Carl Theodor most frequently use on
the census records;
3. Exactly in which Ward in Philadelphia did the family appear in 1870,
1880, 1900 and so on ?
4. Name(s) and DOB of their foreign born and US born children;

Regards,
Ursula
