Hi,
Were you able to find any records of your ancestors, gravestones, or any
other info?
If so, where were you able to find them?
In November my daughter and I visited, with a researcher, in Drawno, Poland
(formerly, Neuwedell, Prussia). No records were available in the town hall or
church, nor in a nearby larger town. Our ancestors seem to have
"disappeared". They may have been killed or moved to another location after World War ll.
(Drawno is also NW of Warsaw, but perhaps farther north, near Stettnin.

Thanks!
Valera

Neuwedell in county Arnswalde belonged to the Neumark (New March,
East-Brandenburg - only from 1938-45 it belonged to Pomerania). No
church registers of Neuwedell survived the war, but the civil registers
1874-99 (with gaps) are at State Archive Gorzw Wlkp. (former
Landsberg/W.) and 1900-45 (also with gaps) at Standesamt (civil register
office) Choszczno (Arnswalde). Only the year 1945 is at Standesamt
Neuwedell. Some military registers 1748-1876 have been filmed by the
LDS.
