Re: the town of NAUCKE
I Have found a small town in Silesia that had my family name of Nauke befor
that it was called Naucke. The earliest I have found about this town is from
1740.
It is located near Öels and Schweidnitz. After 1950 it is now called
Pszeniczna.
The nearest archive is in Wilkow. I would like to know when this town was
founded and by which Naucke? I know there was a burgermeister named Andreas
Nauck in 1500 from Schweidnitz and a house there of an E. Naucke but I don't
know if they are related. Do you know the name of the nearest churches? or
who lived in the large "felwerk" there?
My family were Nauke and Naucke from Hirschberg and before 1880 they were
from Reichenbach O.L. since 1600.
