HINKEL: 1) Dutch and North German: variant of Henkel.
2) German: nickname for a timid, fearful person, from dialect hinkel ‘chicken’.
HENKEL: German: from a pet form of the personal name Heinrich.
I'm guessing your name must be a variant of Henkel (assuming that
you're North German and that being the reason you're on this list),
which does come from Heinrich (Hank). One of my ancestors' surname was
Hencken, which is a patronym of sorts. Mencke or Mencken was treated
this way as well, being derived from Meinhard.
