I am from the Cleveland, Ohio area and we have a wonderful online necrology
file that is accessed from the Cleveland Public Library website.
This file lists obituaries from Cleveland area newspapers. Its free, and the
search options can really help a person fill in missing persons in family
genealogy. In addition to this The Cuyahoga County Courts has a Historical
Marriage Index that I have used to cross reference spouse's names. That website is
http://probate.cuyahogacounty.us/ml/
Anyone doing research in the Cleveland, Ohio area will find this to be a
useful tool. I have also used the necrology file to work in conjunction with the
Ohio Death index you mentioned in your post.
