I will be going to Germany for a visit and would like to know where I might search for information which I posted once before. ( Hello
I am looking for information about Neumann's born or that lived in Druckenhof kreis
Briesen. The civil records were in Koniglich Neudorf. I would like to know where to
get records. Berlin?? Or in Poland??
My father inlaw was born in Druckenhof in 1904. His fathers name was August Neumann
and mother was Augustie Schirmacher according to a very tratterd birth certificate. I
also have work record of his when he worked in Rhur area at the age of 26. From there
he moved to Canada.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help you but if you are going to Poland, I would be happy to pay you
for some research for me, especially in the town of Tarnowke and surronding
cities.

this was a good idea to reply to this message. The more commotion you make
about yourself the better. But - I think eventually we might have to write
to the Polish archive if you cannot find the remaining children on the
census.
But just post your message again in German and Englisch on the mailing list.

If you are serious about finding out about the remaining children one just
has to write to the Polish archive. I do hate to do that for all kinds of
reasons. Ask again if someone has access to the churchbooks of Tarnowke and
surrounding cities.
