I am looking for my German roots, my Great Grandfather was named Gerhard
Diedrich Stuehrenberg was born in 9/17/1850 in Ronnelmoor, Germany
His wife was Anna Katharine Margarete Lion born 12/12/1856.
in Suderschweiburg,Germany
They had 10 children August, Bertha, Diedrich, Emta, Hanne,
Hindrich Emil, Helen, Aught Anne Louise, Wilhelm Herman,
and my grandfather Hermann Hinrich.
I also have a Claus Stuehrenberg born around 1765, his wife was
Anne Marie Suhr or Suhrsky born in May 1770. I found all kinds of
info on her family, but nothing else on her. I think Claus may have been
Gerhard's Grandfather but don't know for sure. Most of my family in the early
days were farmers, my guess is that they were to.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, I am lost.
