I am researching the IBSCH surname, I have many references to the area within 12 kilometers around the city of Militsch (Milicz). I will be visiting that area soon. Does anyone know of any records that might be available in the area? Names of archives, churches etc.If any records survived where they might be. I visited the town of Wirchowitz outside of Militsch were my husband's great grandfather was born, 1856. The Evangelisch graveyard to the south of town was in disrepair. My polish was very little....but we were told the headstones were used for a wall in the park in Militsch. This was confirmed.
