Meyer, Heins -Photos {elbe and celle }

Sometimes photos say it all.
I put on some pictures this week. and older posts. I thought anyone can take a look if they are interested.
Maria Dorothea Heins family came from Bergen Celle area. Grandparents are Koch and Winkelmann. Munster and Muden and Koch from Belsen. I have more going back. But still have not dealt with the maternal side in the posting. I should.

Meyer, Luhmann, Behrens, Gehreke, Mueller, Brese, Schulze

Luhmann on a post back one. From Raven to Nebraska. Md Schlaphof.
She [ at Eichdorf] met him while he attended some schooling in Tellmer and he worked as a farmhand for a time.[ a son of a winemaker?]

It seems the men look so blond before marriage into Heins family???

You mentioned Nebraska in your notes. Where in Nebraska do you think these
people migrated to?
I am from Columbus Nebraska, where there are many Germen people and am
interested in your search.
Thanks
Al Otte

I see that your last name is Otte. I have many Ottes in my genealogy. I
had a researcher do some work for me in the Uslar, Hannover area and
recently I copied all of the Otte pages from the Ortssippenbuch Uslar:die
Bevoelkerung der Stadt Uslar von 1590 bis 1850 book. Most of the names are
from Schoenhagen, Cammerborn, Sohlingen and Eschershausen. Most of the
names are in the 1700s and 1600s. Carol DuPaix

Hello Carol, sorry for barging in on this ..
I see you have many OTTEs from Uslar. Do you happen to have a Catharina A.
OTTE, born 1637 in Nienover , married 1665 Nienover with Christoffel
WLOEMEN. They had 1 son 3 daughters. She died 25 april 1687 Nienover.
Let me know please if you have anything on her or her family.

Sorry, I don't have her in my database. I checked the book but the names
are all crossreferenced. If a child married, only the first name of the
child is given and a number for its entry as a spouse and parent. That
entry has the birth and death dates and in the case of a female the surname
of her spouse. I have not seen the town of Nienover in any of the
references I have searched. I looked on a map and it is only about 5 km
from Schonhagen, but it may not be included in this book. I will write down
the WLOEMEN surname and look it up in the book when I go to the Salt Lake
library the end of the month.
