Thanks to those who responded. Yes, I believe it is true they stayed
together. We found many living on the same street and all of them attending
the same church. Also found whole families working at the same company.
After Goodyear Tire & Rubber was established we see the whole family working
there.
Oppression I suspected by the stories about Mecklenburg in those days.
