When you are at Ancestry's home page, choose the "Search" tab with "Card Catalog" as your option. You will next see the Ancestry Card Catalog sorted by "Popularity."

Now, change the "Sort By" option to "Date Added" from "Popularity." You then should see, towards the lower part of the page, "Mecklenburg, Germany, Parish Register Transcripts, 1876-1918 (in German)." This resource contains 253,625 records. Note also that a separate collection of Jewish records for Mecklenburg has also been added, two listings further down the page.

I found the records. The ones that interest me are St Marien and St. Nicolai of Friedland, Meck-Streliltz. I began scrolling through pages but as it's all in German Script I can't understand anything but the surnames that are written in large letters.

I would find it very difficult to sort through this and try to find anything of interest. My surname is Krüger and that's a common name so that's not enough. I would have to be able to understand who the grand parents were of a child in order to link it to my gr gr grandfather. I can't tell if any deaths are listed.

All in all, I think it's a difficult task unless one is looking for the birth of a known person on a known date.
