Mary Jane.
I have the Koch in relation to my Heins [ Heinz] . The surnames go
back to ancesors in this way.
Meyer,
Heins/ Hencke in Kreutzen near Fassberg.
Anna Catharina Koch, Her father was Hans Koch of Belsen kries celle.
She married Hans Heinrich Heins [ 1774]and they had twelve children.
Hans father was christoph Hinrich and she married Catharina Dorothea
Winkelmann of Sultingen. I am afraid I haven't found that village
yet. They had 5 children. Other surnames were, Plesse, Brase,
Habermann, Stratman,Ties,Kothe, von Hoerston,Hohls,Meierhof, Hoyer,
Mielke [ means mosquito], Gralheer. There are others i can't think
of. I just have the tree. It is possible that some or the Winkelman
went to Luneburg area by the Dahlenburg area and to Gohrde bei
Roethen. Nahrendorf and Oldendorf area there. maybe Koch did also. But
i have only the little given to me by the church of Bergen kries
Celle. I am not familiar with your area so I shall have to run it
through google and see. If I can help you further let me know.

Hello Jo Meyer,
( Jo Meyer/Heins/Koch/Winkelmann)
I have a strong connection with the Koch Family, I would like to
compare notes with you if that is possible. ??One of my Koch's is
Godfried Koch born 11 Sept 1734 on Alt Rupin,Brandenberg,Germany.
He
died in Jaffna, Northern Province of Sri Lanka in 1811. I have the
family from that date forward Do you have anything form that date
backwards ??.
