MANTHEY, Johann Tp. (=Taufpate) am 26. Sept. 1688 und noch 1. Juni 1698
Die Koschnaewjerd�rfer lagen s�d�stlich von Konitz.

Thanks for the email.I will keep it and see if I can trace the Mantheys back that for.
  I have only been able to trace back to a Johann Manthey B:(?) married a Wilhelmine
   Mittelstadt(spelling?) B:(?)They had ten kids and only Johann(my ggrandfather lived).
I lived a round Grocholin ands went to church in Gollantsch.
