Making umlauts with a computer

Hi Bill: Paul:

Been using a notebook so long I forgot about the little
green numbers and the pad lock button. ÖÜäöüß W6r2s
great! W66*s! Got to unlock the pad now. It Works
great!

If you are not familar with a notebook, the 7 8 9 0 u i
o p j k l ; m . / keys become the keypad when the Green
FN is pushed with F9.

With your option I don't think I will need the second
language on the keyboard.

I have word 2000, a part of MS Office. It would be nice
to use the e-mail option in it, but keeping two windows
open allows me to do a quick cut and paste.

Thanks,

Gale

Hi Gale,
Looks like the keypad method is the simplest one to
get umlauts.
I tried Word email did you get them from my
Earthlink/midwest.net email box?

Bill

Erika

Dear Erika,

I feel so bad, I was busy and didn't reply right away
and it slipped my mind. It doesn't have far to slip.
