ein ortsteil von dittelbrunn, ldkrs. schweinfurt, heisst hambach. das ganze gehört zu unterfranken. im telefonbuch von dittelbrunn ist eine person mit dem namen weidner im ortsteil hambach vermerkt.
die zugehörigen kirchenbücher sind verfilmt und liegen im diözesanarchiv in würzburg.
vielleicht hilft das ja weiter!?

hambach ist a name of small village und belong (political) to dittelbrunn. dittelbrunn belong to the distrikt schweinfurt. schweinfurt is a city in the nothern part of bavaria. the county is called unterfranken (=lower franconia). in the telephonbook from dittelbrunn i could find a person with the name karl weidner. i think there are more people with the name weidner in the whole area. geneaology-informatians you can get in germany before the year 1876 only by the church...
i am sure, that the most people in hambach are roman-katholics. the church-books you can find on micro-ficheses in the archiv of the bishop in würzburg... the adress:
