Those of you who are on the list but currently set to "no mail"
will have received a message in German but I do not know
whether you get to read these notes. :frowning:

In any case the message goes like this with your listname
inserted as appropriate:

Ihre Mitgliedschaft in der Mailingliste (listname) wurde wegen
wiederholter Unzustellbarkeit vorübergehend ausgesetzt. Sie
werden so lange keine Nachrichten dieser Liste mehr
erhalten, bis Ihre Mitgliedschaft reaktiviert wird. Nach 3
weiteren Mitteilungen wie dieser wird Ihre Mitgliedschaft
komplett gelöscht werden.

Um Ihre Mitgliedschaft zu reaktivieren können Sie einfach auf
diese Nachricht antworten (ohne die Betreff bzw. Subject-
Zeile zu verändern), oder Sie besuchen die
Rückmeldungsseite unter

Dort können Sie verschiedenste Einstellungen, wie den
Empfang von Nachrichtensammlungen oder Ihre e-
Mailadresse, konfigurieren. Zur Erinnerung: Ihr Passwort für
diese Liste lautet:

    xxxx

Basically it says that the software tried to reach you but
couldn't and will delete you from the list unless you do one of
several things:

1) reply to the message as is and send

2) click on the link:
http://list.genealogy.net/mailman/options/LISTNAME-
L/fredrump%40earthlink.net

and enter the password which was sent to you and all is well.
You might at this time set your preferred list language to
English. This will not change any list content but it will present
list admin instructions etc in your preferred language in the future.

3) You may click on the included link such as:
http://list.genealogy.net/mailman/confirm/vffow-
l/31a4bafa0f80d7e4dd781440a400f2cda670ad18

This is a one time thing and after that all will be well.

PS any other lister may go to the #2 option link
http://list.genealogy.net/mailman/options/listname/emailaddre
ss and set their desired options after entering your list
password. You probably should do this now to at minimum set
your desired list admin language.

alle links geben nur die Information: "Bad confirmation string", oder "CGI
