I have family from Lesno, Kr. Konitz, Poland [CORRECTION: not Kr. Deutsch
Krone. I also have family from Lueben, Kr. Deutsch Krone and should not have
done this from memory.] I would estimate the distance to be about 100 miles
west of Rasmau.
Currently, I have copies of the ev.church records for Lesno [Christenings
1852-1900; marriages 1823-1933 and deaths 1862-1915]. I plan to order the
final CD for christenings 1736-1815, 1819-1851 and deaths 1819-1841.
If you think this might be the same location, please provide me with the
details you have. I would be happy to look for an entry at the same time
I'm reviewing the slides for my family.
Jane, Where did you get the copies of Church records for Lesno, My
Grandparents were married in the Lutheran Church in Daber Pomerania, I have
had no success in getting any records from this church. Thanks Lola

The CDs were purchased from Stanley Frymark, his email address is
zaborski@web.de. They appear to have been taken with a digital camera.
Some are better quality then others, as some of the church records were very
poor quality.
He indicated that he has some records covering former East Prussia and
Pomerania and almost all from West Prussia. So far he has been able to tell
me which towns are located on which church records for my family research.
