Hi! I was in Prezelle in 1999. I expect Prezelle records earlier than 1689
might be in Lüchow, if they exist. My 2nd gr.grandfather August Otto
Friedrich Backhaus was born in Prezelle 9 Jan 1834 to Ernst Conradt Backhaus
and Anne Dorothee Runge. The baptism was recorded at St. Johann's in Lüchow,
however. Do these names match any of yours ?

How did you find the Prezelle records? I understand that the minister has
them, and he does not live there.

Hello John,
Prezelle is member of the parish of Woltersdorf. Mr. Schulz is the pastor. His
phone is +49 5841 2296. But the records from 1689 on are directly in Prezelle.
Mrs. Wilke is responsible of them. Her phone is +49 5848 622.
I am also assuming that the redors earlier than 1689 are in L�chow but I am not
sure.
