My greatgrandfather, THEODOR HARTMAN(N)-b 1857 lived in the Konitz/Schlochau area of West Prussia til 1893. He came to US with wife, Mathilde TESSMER, and children John,Marie, Franz,and Theodor.
He may be related to Friedrich HARTMANN (same town) who came thru Ellis island 2 months earlier, w/ wife Alwine & baby Helene.
My mothers parents were August MUELLER(MILLER) and Anna MARKOWSKI, married in Kostowo(Kuztova)
Kreis Wirsitz in 1904. Her parents were Peter Markowski and Emilie??? illegible. His were Christopher and Juliany (KAJA) MUELLER. They came to US in
1907 with daughters Martha and Agnes.
Both Theodor and August settled in Connecticut.
No records on Friedrich....???
