Thanks of your reply, Barbara. I have not looked at a Hildesheim emigration list, only the Hamburg list. It was the Index where I found my data. I contacted a source to purchase a copy of the emigration information but asked if it contained information other than what I already had, i.e. name, age, place of origin, etc. Surprisingly the reply said that the info they would supply for 40Euros did not reveal any other pertinent data.
Some time ago I looked at the Hanover census but was not successful. I plan to reorder the film and be more diligent in my search. I could have missed it.

      I would think that the emigration records from Hildesheim at the LDS
weren't just based on the ship lists. I could be wrong about that. It'd be
another LDS microfilm to pay for. If it is done in alphabet order or even
date order, that wouldn't be too much to go through. I am sure that many
Hildesheim people emigrated from other ports than Hamburg.
