Inquiry

I am looking for the birth records for an ancestor, CHRISTOPH GOTTLEIB
KORNACHER who was born about 1711 in Schedlau, Silesia - now Szydlowiec
Slaski, Poland. His father, JOHANN ADAM KORNACHER was born in Schweinfurt
Germany but he moved to Schedlau and worked as a Hoch-Reichsgräflich
Pücklerischen Kammer-Schreiber.
I have written to the Muzeum Śląskie - Katowice Poland, the Archiwum
Panstwowe Opole, Poland and the Archiwum Panstwowe, Wroc³aw, Poland. They
say they do not have any records. I also looked at the microfilm records
from the Katholische Kirche Falkenberg Taufen 1689-1712. They are difficult
for me to read and I could not see the birth record in those files.
Could you please give me some advice for further research?
Thank you very much for any assistance you can give me;
With friendly greetings

I think, the name Gottlieb is typical evangelic.
You did not write, that Christoph Gottlieb KORNACHER was of evangelic religion!
But I think this is correct.
So you have to read the evangelic church books of Falkenberg in Upper Silesia.

But: Many of these old books were found at first round about 2005, but in a very bad
condition. They must total renovate in a special laboratory of the state archives
of Poland. The costs are round 10.000 Euro / book !! Therefor only the first
3 books are renovated.
Now there is no more money! You can spend for renovation, but I have not
the address now.

With friendly greetings
Claus
