Hello from Canada;
My family searches have taken me to the village of Neu Grunau in Kreis
Flatow. My Roepke family lived in or near this village from about 1845
to 1872. The local Protestant church for this village was in the nearby
village of Grunau. The LDS (Mormon) Family History Centre has a
microfilm of Duplicate baptisms, marriages and deaths for the years 1830
to 1859 taken from the Lutheran Church in Grunau. I speak neither German
nor Polish.
1) Is anyone aware of records for this Grunau parish church for
the period after 1859?
2) Does anyone have any photos, past or recent, from Neu Grunau?
