I have recently learned that my ancestors- MAFFRE/MAFFRY were Huguenots
who fled France- Alsace, specifically, and went to Germany. Is there any
way I can find a list- in some library or historical organization- or the
list of family names, among which I hope to learn where my ancestor
family went?
Vielen Danke

Dear Mary-Lina,
you should contact the "Deutsche Hugenotten Gesellschaft" (German Huguenots Association) in Bad
Karlshafen. I think they can help you. The homepage is published in German, English and French.
Good luck and kindly regards from Langenhagen, Germany,
