Could someone help me translate the line
"Der neuzeitliche Kirchenbau in Visbek ist Nachfolger der ersten hölzernen
Taufkirche um 800, von der aus das südliche spätere Oldenburger Land
missioniert wurde."

this is what babelfish says but it's a little off for me
"The modern building of churches in Visbek is successor of the first wooden
baptizing church around 800, by which from the southern later Oldenburger
was missioniary country"

my family is Catholic from Visbek

It says more or less the following:

The modern churchbuilding in Visbek is a replacement of the first wooden
baptistery built around the year 800 which was the church from which the area
south of Visbek, that was later to become the Oldenburger Land, was evangelized.
