HELPFUL TEXTBOOK FOR GERMAN RESEARCHERS

In visiting the local Family History Center, I found a very
interesting German textbook for beginners, "A First German Book," by
Betz and Price, published by the American Book Company in 1929. It
included a nice chapter on how to read the old German printed text
and script. Our family research for two sets of great-grandparents
will be in Germany before long, so my sister and I both want to
become familiar with these forms.

By hunting through Web sites for used books, like alibris.com, I was
able to obtain a used copy of this book in good condition for us, and
for less than $10. (said someone in the U.S.)

Most cordial regards from Luxembourg
