Happy Mother's Day!!!
I am looking for information on my family. My great-great grandfather, John Hanfland (b. 1796) came to Illinois in 1866 with his son Frederick Hanfland (b. 1826 in
Hallenberg) and his wife, Elizabeth Swartz (b.1837) and their infant son, Philip (b.1865 in Hallenberg). My grandfather, Peter was born in Illinois in 1870.
I do not know who John's wife was...or if he had brothers & sisters or if Frederick had brothers and sisters. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
